This 1921 Avions Voisin C1 is one of the few remaining examples of a model of which only 1,000 were built. The car is a rare find and offers a unique opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind French car. This Avions was restored in the past with attention to originality and has since been kept mainly in an Avions Voisin collection.
Good preserved bodywork and authentic details
The bodywork is in good condition, considering its age. The paint is still in good condition, with some signs of use appropriate to the age of the car. Special features of this C1 are the typical Art-Déco upholstery in the rear, along with the unique double seats that can also serve as footrests. These details make the car a real eye-catcher and a reflection of the craftsmanship of the time.
Interior and unique features
The interior is a combination of black leather for the driver and passenger, while the rear passengers can enjoy luxurious upholstery in Art-Déco style, typical of Avions Voisin. The dashboard is in good condition, and the car includes beautiful details such as the copper framing of the grille and two spare wheels on either side of the engine compartment, emphasizing the exclusivity of this car.
Technical details and driving experience
The C1 is powered by a four-cylinder engine that gives the car a top speed of just over 50 mph. The engine is loose but we recommend a comprehensive service before it can hit the road again.
