Specifications
[description]

This 1961 Volvo P1800 is not just any classic car, but one of the earliest examples ever produced. With production number 38, this model is a rare opportunity for collectors. The P1800, made famous by the TV series The Saint, is more of a stylish GT than a pure sports car, and this early version shows the craftsmanship of the early years at Volvo and Jensen.

Pretty Restoration

In 2013, this P1800 underwent a full restoration in which the car was returned to its original color and specifications. The sheet metal now matches perfectly, something that was often not the case with the earliest models. The chrome work, trims and distinctive "cow horn bumpers" are in excellent condition. These details make the car a true timeless icon.

Neat and Comfortable Interior

The interior of this P1800 is fully in line with its origins, with seats from the later 1800 ES for added comfort. The neat finish on the carpeting, door panels and gauges make for a stylish driving experience. The cabin exudes a unique combination of Italian flair, American exuberance and Swedish simplicity, which makes driving this car special every time.

Powerful and Reliable B18 Engine

Under the hood is the reliable 100-horsepower B18 engine fed by two SU carburetors. The M40 manual transmission shifts smoothly and offers a comfortable driving experience, aided by overdrive. The technology was completely checked and overhauled during the restoration, so the car is ready for many years of driving pleasure.
