Description

This 1951 Volkswagen Beetle Type 1, better known as the 'Glasses' Beetle, is a special and beloved model. What makes this Beetle extra special are the rare 'Crotch Coolers' - side air intakes that were only available in the 1951 and 1952 models. This unique detail makes this Beetle a true collector's item for enthusiasts.

Original Style and Neat Restoration

The Beetle was exported to Sweden in 1981 and has had the same owner for 26 years since then. The car has a 1200 Type 1 engine, which has been technically overhauled and repainted in the past, but retaining its authentic character. The paintwork is clean, although it shows some signs of use, which gives the car its charm and originality. The underside of the Beetle is in excellent, original condition, highlighting the care and maintenance over the years.

Rare Options and Extraordinary Interior

The interior of this Beetle is still largely original and has a nice patina that shows the years, without compromising the quality. The car is finished in a beautiful pastel green paint with a beautiful beige fabric interior. This example is equipped with rare and valuable options, such as a sunshade, outside mirror, time clock, and of course the rare Crotch Coolers. At the time, these were luxury extras that make this Beetle even more special.

Perfectly Running Technique

The technique of the Beetle is completely in order, and the car drives and functions perfectly. This is a particularly beautiful Beetle in a beautiful color scheme and in top original condition.
