Description

The Messerschmitt KR200 Roadster is one of the most unique and charming vehicles ever produced. This three-wheeled microcar, designed by aircraft designer Fritz Fend, was created at a time when Messerschmitt was banned from building aircraft due to prohibition after World War II. The result is an innovative vehicle, a mix of car, scooter and motorcycle, which clearly shows its origins in its design and aerodynamic lines.

Beautifully restored copy

This particular model was beautifully restored several years ago, using only original parts. The blue paintwork, glossy sheet metal and stainless steel strips are in perfect condition. Even the details, such as the rear trunk rack with wicker case, are in new condition. The KR200 stands on the correct 8" wheels with whitewall tires, which gives the car an authentic look.

Unique and attractive interior

The interior of this Messerschmitt is truly an experience in itself. With two seats back to back and an aircraft-like instrument panel, it is immediately clear that the designer earned his spurs in aviation. The upholstery and instruments are in perfect condition. Behind the flat steering wheel, you experience riding like no other vehicle, a mix of the feel of a two-wheeler and the comfort of a car.

Powerful and compact engine

Under the hood is a 191 cc Fichtel & Sachs two-stroke engine, good for 10 horsepower. Despite its modest power, the riding experience is spectacular, due in part to its low weight of only 230 kilograms. With a top speed of 105 km/h, the KR200 offers a unique riding experience that cannot be compared to anything else.
