This beautiful Massey-Ferguson 35 is an excellently maintained tractor that underwent a thorough restoration several years ago. The technical and cosmetic condition of this specimen is very good, making it still fully operational. This model is not only a workhorse in the field, but also a piece of agricultural history.
Reliable performance and strong Perkins engine
In 1959, Massey-Ferguson introduced the Perkins A3.152 engine to the 35 series, resulting in an engine with 37 hp. This powerplant was particularly well received by farmers for its reliability and performance. This engine gave the MF 35 a significant boost in efficiency, contributing to its popularity among farmers worldwide.
Revised colors and technological improvements
The MF 35 model was introduced in 1957, originally as an improved version of the Ferguson FE-35, but with updated red and gray colors. In 1963, the 35X entered the market, leading to the addition of the innovative multi-power transmission, which doubled the number of gears available. This made shifting while driving a lot easier and made the tractor more versatile to use.
Recognizable features and international production
One of the distinctive features of the four-cylinder models is the exhaust located on the same side as the brake pedals. This makes them easy to recognize. The Massey-Ferguson 35 was produced worldwide, including in England, the US, India and Yugoslavia, which contributed to its international success.
