Description

The 1985 Pontiac Trans Am GTA is an iconic example of American muscle car culture from the 1980s, an era when performance, striking design and unmistakable charisma were key. The third-generation Firebird, of which the Trans Am GTA is a part, was introduced in 1982 and was instantly recognizable for its clean lines, lowered roofline and aerodynamic styling. Introduced as the top model of the Firebird series, the GTA stood for "Gran Turismo Americano" and combined impressive performance with luxurious equipment, setting a new standard for the American sports coupe.

Under the hood of the Trans Am GTA was a powerful V8 engine that provided the raw, deep engine sound so characteristic of American muscle cars. The car was intended to impress not only with its looks, but also with its performance on the road. With advanced technologies for the time, such as fuel injection and an improved suspension, the GTA offered a driving experience that was both exciting and comfortable. This particular example is in drivable condition and has a valid MOT until 29-03-2025.

From a private collection, this Trans Am GTA has been carefully preserved and still exudes the same charm as when it first rolled off the production line. The car has the characteristic design of the 1980s, with pop-up headlights, an aggressive nose and a low, muscular body that emphasizes its dynamic nature. The interior offers a blend of sportiness and comfort, with bucket seats and a dashboard full of gauges that accurately inform the driver of the car's performance.

To get a good idea of the car, we recommend coming to one of the viewing days.
