Description

The 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 C Adenauer is a car that represents an era when Mercedes-Benz positioned itself as a manufacturer of luxury and prestigious vehicles for the elite. The nickname "Adenauer" refers to Konrad Adenauer, the first Chancellor of West Germany, who regularly used this model. It was a status symbol, loved by heads of state, diplomats and captains of industry. The 300 C was the third iteration of the famed W186 series, a car that showed its luxurious pedigree in every detail, from the hand-crafted wooden interior parts to the imposing appearance that characterized its presence on the road.

This particular example was delivered new in Portugal, where the car retained all of its original grandeur. Since 2008, this majestic Mercedes is registered in the Netherlands and is part of a privécollection, which only adds to its exclusivity. The condition of the car is largely unrestored and original, which adds to the charm of a classic car that has never lost its authenticity.

The 300 C is powered by a 3.0-liter six-in-line engine, which offers a smooth and powerful driving experience thanks to its refined engineering. At the time, the 300 C was one of the few cars that could rival the luxury of Rolls-Royce, with advanced options such as an independent rear suspension. This Mercedes is in drivable condition and is exempt from road tax and MOT requirements. Various documentation is present.

To get a good impression of the car, we advise you to come to ééone of the viewing days.
