BMW 315 Baur Convertible 1982

Baur was a well-known German coachbuilder that specialized in modifying and adapting existing car models. The company, in full "Baur Fahrzeugbau GmbH," was based in Stuttgart, Germany, and had been operating since the early 20th century. Baur was known for collaborating with various car manufacturers to produce special body styles. Some of Baur's best-known projects were the targa roof versions of several BMW models, including the BMW E21 3-Series Baur TC (Top Cabriolet) and BMW E30 3-Series Baur TC2 (Top Cabriolet 2). These cars featured a unique targa roof design with the ability to remove the roof in two parts, resulting in an open driving experience without the complete removal of the roof.
