The MG B is a sporty two-seater convertible that was produced between 1962 and 1980. The car was developed as a successor to the popular MG A and was initially produced as a convertible. The design of the MG B was timeless and streamlined, with a long bonnet, low side windows and a folding roof. The body was made of strong and lightweight steel and the car was equipped with independent suspension, disc brakes up front and rear wheel drive. The MG B was powered by a powerful 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, which was available in several versions. The engine produced up to 95 horsepower and was connected to a four- or five-speed manual transmission, depending on the year and version. Over the years the MG B was upgraded with various improvements and new features. The MG B was very popular with car enthusiasts because of its sporty character and performance. The car was also very successful in motorsport, winning countless races and rallies around the world. Today the MG B is a popular classic among car enthusiasts and collectors because of its stylish design and sporting performance. Many vehicles are still actively used in rallies and races around the world. The car offered here has a hardtop, something you don't see very often with this model. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
