Documentation
The very luxurious Type 300 was introduced in November 1951 and also became known as the Adenauer after the model became a personal favorite of the first Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Konrad Adenauer. Two types were produced: a luxury four-door that was not inferior in luxury and price to rival the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, but delivered better performance. In addition, there was the hand-built two-door sports tourer equal in elegance, proportion, and cost. These large saloons and convertibles came with all kinds of luxurious facilities. In addition to a beautiful aristocrat-friendly styling, the car was equipped with some of the latest technical advancements, such as an advanced frame made of oval tubular steel and a load-level control. The cars were hugely successful and were built for 10 years before being replaced by the Fintail (Heckflosse) models. The Adenauer offered here offers a good basis for further perfecting. The car has been standing still for a long time, but it is still moving. Some maintenance will be necessary before you can participate in traffic again. Furthermore, the fabric interior looks quite good overall and the car looks complete. All in all, an interesting investment. To get a good impression of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
