Description

The 2003 MG TF is a two-seat roadster that builds on the tradition of the British brand MG, known since the 1920s for compact sports cars with an open body. Introduced in 2002 as a further development of the MG F, the MG TF was distinguished in part by a modified suspension with conventional springs instead of the earlier Hydragas system. The model was produced in the United Kingdom and assumed the position of affordable mid-engine roadster within MG's range.

The MG TF features a transverse mid-engine and rear-wheel drive, a configuration that contributes to balanced weight distribution. The design features compact proportions, a low seating position and a fabric convertible top. During the early 2000s, the MG TF was one of the few British sports cars in this segment, giving the model a recognizable place within the modern history of the MG brand.

This example is a 2003 MG TF. The odometer reading is considered logical by the RDW. Several invoices are included with the car, which can provide insight into the maintenance performed and previous work. Further documentation and specifications can be consulted during the viewing day.

The MG TF remained in production at MG Rover until 2005, after which production continued in modified form under the Chinese flag after a short hiatus. The model thus marks a transitional period in MG history, combining the classic British sports car concept with modern production techniques of the early 21st century. To get a good idea of the lot, we recommend coming to the viewing day.
