The 2008 Jaguar XF belongs to the first generation of this model, referred to internally as X250. With the introduction of the Jaguar XF, the brand distanced itself from the traditional design that for many years characterized the Jaguar S-Type. Developed under the direction of design director Ian Callum, the Jaguar XF marked a clear change of direction in design and positioning within the upper-middle class segment. The model was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007 and entered the market in 2008.
The Jaguar XF was built on a modified platform previously used within Jaguar, focusing on a combination of comfort and dynamics. Characteristic of this model are the flowing body lines and the interior concept where various functions are controlled electronically. The Jaguar XF played an important role in the renewed brand image of Jaguar in the late 2000s and formed the basis for later generations within the model range.
This example is a Jaguar XF of the year 2008. The car comes with several booklets, which is relevant in the context of documentation and vehicle history. Further specifications are not listed. As usual within this segment, the Jaguar XF was available at the time with various engine variants and versions, with which the model appealed to a broad target group within the business and private market.
