The 2010 Ford Explorer V6 is a large, rugged American SUV known for its generous space, comfortable 7-seat layout and strong towing capacity. This model is equipped with the proven 4.0-liter V6 engine with 210 hp and 340 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Although the Explorer was developed primarily for the American market, it is also popular as an import car in Europe, thanks in part to its simple, solid build and high level of comfort. This example concerns the XLT version, a version that pleasantly combines comfort and appearance.
In terms of character, the Explorer is in a transitional phase: still clearly traditional SUV-like, but with the first features of later CUV models. Many Explorers offered in Europe come from the United States or Japan, which explains why they are often built to American specifications. The 4.0-liter V6 is known to be reliable, if properly maintained, and makes this type of Explorer popular as a tow vehicle or spacious family car.
This Ford Explorer V6 is equipped with BF Goodrich All Terrain tires with ample tread. The car drives and shifts excellent and has low mileage of only 100215 km. From all appearances this is an original mileage. The odometer records on the official documents show 74,000 km in 2021 and 85,900 km in 2023, which shows that the car has been used only occasionally.
On 22-05-2010, a license plate was issued in Japan; the year of construction may be slightly different. No fewer than nine recorded service intervals have been performed at odometer readings of 1,272, 5,873, 11,964, 23,049, 36,637, 54,100, 66,155, 73,863 and 92,720 km. Maintenance and service books are completed and present. Cars originating from Japan are known for their well cared for condition and consistent maintenance history, which is also evident with this example. Two original keys with remote control are present. In addition, the car is favorable in the business additional tax rate. To get a good impression of the lot we advise you to come to the viewing day.
