Description

The AC Aceca, produced in 1955, is an outstanding example of British craftsmanship and design. Born in West Norwood, this car is known for its handmade aluminum body. Only 151 examples were ever manufactured, making the Aceca a rare phenomenon. The car was originally delivered to Mr. K. Jefferson in Warwickshire on November 15, 1955 and features a unique certificate confirming its authenticity. The AC Aceca is not just a car, but a piece of history that reflects the rich tradition of the marque.

The Aceca is equipped with a 2.0-liter 6-in-line engine, fed by three SU carburetors and mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Developed specifically by AC itself, this engine offers a smooth driving experience and is designed for a relaxed driving style. The engine's power is at its best at lower revs, where the rider can enjoy the characteristic sound of the engine. The gearbox with synchromesh blades contributes to a pleasant driving experience, ideal for long trips.

The interior of the AC Aceca is finished with high-quality, leather upholstery, which adds to the luxurious look of the car. The understated beauty of the design, combined with the authentic elements, makes it a tribute to the timeless elegance of the 1950s. Recently, the car was completely refinished and re-sprayed by Auto Classica Rubbio in Nederhorst Den Berg, retaining the original colors. The bumpers were removed during this process, giving a tighter profile to the car. To get a good idea of the lot, we advise you to come to the viewing day.
