Description

The 1974 Citroën DS 23 Pallas is a remarkable model within the long line of the Citroën DS, which made its debut in 1955. The DS series stood out for its innovative design and technological advances, including hydropneumatic suspension. The model quickly became a symbol of French style and engineering, and the Pallas version was intended for the luxury segment, with extra attention to finish and comfort. In 1998, this particular DS 23 Pallas was imported to the Netherlands and since then, since 2016, the current owner has paid a lot of attention to the car.

The Citroën DS 23 Pallas underwent significant improvements in recent years. The engine block and gearbox were overhauled, improving the car's reliability and performance. The bodywork received a complete paint job in the original color AC 085 Beige Tholonet, allowing the model to retain its characteristic appearance. In the summer of 2024, some minor rust spots were removed, further improving the overall condition of the bodywork. Since the overhauls in 2018-2019, the car has driven approximately 7,500 kilometers.

The car's original leather upholstery shows signs of use, with cracks here and there, which adds to the authentic character of the DS 23 Pallas. The locks showed some stiffness and the windshield washer occasionally struggled. This model is manual transmission and equipped with luxury options such as tinted glass and blinds. The Citroën DS 23 Pallas remains a classic example of French automotive engineering and design. To get a good idea of the lot, we recommend coming to the viewing day.
