Description

The 1952 Lancia Aurelia B20 GT represented an important milestone in automotive history. This model, designed by renowned coachbuilder Pinin Farina, was known for its elegant lines and innovative design. The B20 GT, which was part of the second series, was the world's first production car with a V6 engine, which was a remarkable technology at the time. The use of a 2.0-liter six-in-line engine, which produced 80 horsepower, contributed to Lancia's reputation as a pioneer in automotive engineering.

This particular Lancia Aurelia B20 GT, finished in a unique Amaranto color with Zegna gray fabric upholstery, demonstrated craftsmanship and attention to detail. The vehicle featured matching numbers and matching colors, which enhanced its authenticity and value for collectors. Moreover, this car was Mille Miglia eligible, which meant it could be part of one of the most prestigious and historic car races in the world. The original Aurelia steering wheel added to the charm and character of this model.

Approximately 15 years ago, this Lancia underwent a restoration, which renewed its appeal and preserved its iconic aesthetic. The Lancia Aurelia B20 GT offered not only an interesting glimpse into the automotive engineering advances of the 1950s, but also a delight for classic car enthusiasts.
