Porsche 928 1977

Porsche 928 enthusiasts beware! This is an extremely rare example with a very low production number, namely 00279. This car is among the very first of this legendary Gran Turismo introduced by Porsche in 1977. Only the very first production run of about 300 units had géén side blinkers in the front fenders. This was the car as designer Anatole "Tony" Lapine intended it to be, emphasizing the purity of the original design. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, "side blinkers" were added which detracted from the original design. This example has a very good quality interior with Pasha upholstery in almost original new condition.

The car is a German rendition and was brought to the Netherlands in 1986. By a collector from Czechë the car was transported to Czechë and kept in collection for years. When the car was bought by a Canadian collector via the Internet from this Czech gentleman, the car was intercepted on its way to the port of Rotterdam and the current owner bought the car from this Canadian. Then the 928 had a new distribution and water pump and the brakes were recently replaced. The car drives extremely well and it has been driven with some regular time, something that is very important with this type.

With an eye on 2027, the year in which the 928 will be central in Porsche history and the prices of this type are clearly rising, this example is "the one to have".
