This is a historic racer based on a 1934 Lancia Augusta. The car has a rich history and many of its owners between 1950 and 1979 are known or traceable. These owners include the actor Robbie Coltrane. The car has competed several times in past VSCC events at Donington, Oulton Park and Cadwell Park, among others. At some point, the original block was swapped for a British Salmson. Recently this engine block was again replaced with a rebuilt Lancia 439 Aprilia block with 4 cylinders and 1500 cc. The car was delivered as a chassis only and was then fitted with bodywork. The car is in a running condition. To get a good idea of the car we advise you to come to the viewing day.
