The 1956 Fiat 1100 is based on a classic sedan body with a four-door layout, which was quite modern at the time. The car is compact, and lent itself perfectly to urban use, however, it offered enough space for a small family. The 1.1 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine produced about 36hp, and was mated to a manual, four-speed transmission. The example offered here has been stationary for some time, and needs both technical and visual attention. The car offers a very suitable basis for a restoration.
