The Porsche 356, also called the 356 Pre A, was Porsche's first production car. The car was produced from 1948 to 1965. During that time, 1,362 convertible versions were made. Few of these remain today, making this model a unique and special appearance. The Porsche 356 Pre A Convertible offered here left the factory November 24, 1953. Delivery to the first buyer took place May 24 by Porsche dealer Hoffman in New York. The car was imported into the Netherlands some time ago. Originally, the car was delivered in Mode Grau. Currently the car is fitted with a later produced engine block, but what is special is that the original block with the correct Matching Number is included. There is a Kardex present on which all numbers can be seen. To get a good picture of the lot we advise you to come to the viewing day.
