This Ferrari Testarossa is a special specimen. Early series Testarossa came with one high-set "flying mirror" instead of two low exterior mirrors. This was because a Ferrari engineer misinterpreted new European rules for rear visibility, resulting in a single large exterior mirror. Connoisseurs call these versions Monospecchio (single mirror). On this one, a second tall mirror was fitted at some point. This modification was frequently done by dealers and owners at the time to make the appearance of the car symmetrical, often with an original mirror intended for the RHD market. From 1987 the double low mirrors were delivered, so this example is one of the last. The rims are also special: they were mounted by means of a single central wheel nut, as is common in racing, until model year 1988. This is called Monodado (single nut) by connoisseurs. A specimen with both Monospecchio and Monodado is sought after, because according to enthusiasts it is the earliest and therefore "purest" form of the Testarossa. The finish is also classic: Rosso Corsa over beige leather. According to the letter S in the serial number and engine type F113A046 (no catalytic converter, Bosch KE-Jetronic), this example was destined for the Swiss/Swedish market. In 1994, the car was registered in the Netherlands, after which the car was purchased by the current owner in February 2001 from Kroymans .This Ferrari is in a particularly clean condition. To get a good impression of the car we advise you to come to a viewing day.
