The 2004 Maserati Quattroporte 4.2 V8 Duo Select Sport was a remarkable luxury sports limousine known for its refined performance, stylish design and exclusive features. This Maserati Quattroporte drives and shifts superbly. Originally, the car was delivered by Cornes Japan Exclusive Cars. Cornes dealers include Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce and Maserati. From the looks of it, the mileage is original. The mileage records on the official documents show the following: 25500 KM in 2018 and 27500 KM in 2020. From this it can be concluded that the Maserati was driven only occasionally. This Maserati has a special sports steering wheel and an extra large tablet-sized information center. The V8 4.2-liter comes from Ferrari. The famous F136 engine block was used in both brands. The engine shares many of the design features of modern racing engines, including dry-sump lubrication. The 32-valve DOHC uses chain-driven, two overhead camshafts, with the intake cams controlled by variable valve timing. The crankshaft and cylinder heads are made of aluminum and silicon alloy, giving the engine a relatively light weight of 184 pounds. The Maserati has shift paddles on the steering wheel and features a 6-speed automatic transmission. A license plate was issued in Japan on 16-12-2004. The year of manufacture may be different from that. Cars originating from Japan are known to be usually in very good condition. In addition, Japanese car owners are consistent in following maintenance intervals, because of this, the cars are usually above average maintained. This also shows in the Maserati. Both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition. To get a good impression of the lot, we advise you to come to the viewing day.
