The car offered here is from the collection of BP Classics. The following information was made available by the seller.
This left-hand drive body has all the body work done and is actually ready to be painted. It is very solid, has some light surface rust due to long-term storage, but it has been inside for many years. The car has been in the Netherlands since 1987 and taxes have been paid.
In addition to the body itself, we have added the following additional parts, which are still in unrestored condition:
- Trunk lid with hinges and heated window, MG-BGT logo in original primrose yellow,
- Front lid for engine compartment with hinges painted in blue,
- Left and right doors with hinges and windows painted in different colors,
- Left and right rear fenders and chrome moldings with openers,
- 4 steel rims with 14-inch tires with 4 holes x 4.5 inches,
- An original radiator.
The GT has no sunroof and is therefore very suitable to be built as a rally car for classic events. After this auction we will clear out our storage space and then we can sell engine and engine parts, and at least we have an MG rear axle for wire wheels. Driveshaft, most interior parts with new covers for seats, rear seats, dashboards and much more. The problem is that we can't get to these parts right now. But we have a huge inventory of parts. But if you have a disassembled or rotted MH-BGT or even an MG-B, you can easily disassemble that car and build this car with your existing parts.
To get a good idea of the lot, we recommend that you come to the viewing day.
