The car offered here is from the collection of BP Classics. The following information was made available by the seller.
This car was produced in Longbridge, England, and was the successor to the Austin Healey 100 (BN1 and BN2). The engine was a tuned version of the BMC-C series, increased to 117 hp (87 kW) with an optional overdrive unit. The hood had a built-in air hood and the windshield could no longer be folded down. Partly built of alloy and steel.
This is a 2-door convertible with folding hood (in good condition) and there is also a tonneau in good condition. This beautiful car is equipped with black leather seats and beautiful wire wheels. The car has been very well restored in the Netherlands around the beginning of the 21st century and painted in a very nice black and yellow color.
The current owner bought the car in 2010 and has used the car for several trips around the UK and Europe. In 2017 a new crankshaft was installed along with all new bearings. Since then the car has driven less than 1000 kilometers. Bodywork and paint are in very nice and good condition and it is a really pleasant sports car to drive, and a real eye-catcher. He was always stored in a heated garage / showroom.
To get a good picture of the lot we recommend you come to the viewing day.
