Description

When brands merged, Austin and Healey both had different influences on this model; Austin was a manufacturer of beautiful and solid passenger cars, where Donald Healey was a speedster and card designer. The Austin Healey 3000 MK 3, is the last of the 3000 series and a true gatekeeper with speed, British style and a raucous punchy 6-in-line. The long, curved hood, distinctive grille and bodywork sleeker than a supermodel during a juice fast. give an athletic look to the little muscle car. The open ride is a real plus, allowing drivers to cruise through town and country like royalty with the wind in their hair. This is not just any old one… Under the hood of the British lady lies a computer-controlled 3.0-liter inline engine that has been tickled to over 180 horsepower, enough to impress your friends at the local high tea gathering. It runs perfectly and can be perfected in every detail. The recently overhauled engine with 2 SU carburetors and aluminum Denis Welch cylinder head. The carburetors provide the perfect blend of the purest air from Birmingham and a shot of high-octane fuel. This engine, mated to a Getrag five-speed transmission shifts very smoothly. This example has also been royally treated and is in top restored condition. With mega modifications, it has remained far from normal. A short list: 50 liter gas tank Aluminum radiator Xenon lights and spotlights, Refurbished Denis Welch racing exhaust system, Sports air filter Aluminum rear brake drums and Original interior. To get a good idea of the lot we recommend you come to the viewing day.
