1950 was the last year Chrysler produced the Town & Country coupe. At the time, it was the most expensive American coupe for sale. The Town & Country features many wood and chrome accents that are in excellent condition. It is said that the Chrysler Imperials never reached the level of class that the Town & Country has. Only 689 Town & Country Coupes were produced in 1950, making it a true collector's item. The condition of this Chrysler is very good and it looks beautiful. The paint is in excellent condition, the chrome shines beautifully and the wood is also in very good condition. The Lockheed designed disc brakes were way ahead of their time and at the time had an additional cost of $400 for the already very expensive coupe. The engine is a 5.3 liter inline 8-cylinder from Chrysler and runs excellently, very quietly, producing 135 HP. The manual transmission allows for excellent shifting. The interior of the Chrysler is also in excellent condition, the carpet, seats and door panels are all in good condition.
