The Rover P5 3.5 Litre Saloon, produced in 1972, marks the end of the production line of one of the most prestigious and iconic British cars of the era. Aimed at the luxury segment, the P5 was known for its refinement, comfort and distinctive appearance. At the heart of the P5 3.5 Litre Saloon was a 3.5-liter V8 engine borrowed from Buick, a subsidiary of General Motors. This engine was a significant upgrade over the earlier six-cylinder engines used in the P5 series. It offered the car a significant increase in power and performance, making the P5 not only a comfortable but also a relatively fast car for its size and time. The P5 was designed with an emphasis on luxury and quality. The exterior was characterized by its stately and timeless design, with a traditional British elegance. High-quality materials were used both on the exterior and interior. The interior of the P5 3.5 Litre Saloon is spacious, luxurious and offers an excellent level of comfort. It is lavishly upholstered in leather and wood veneers, which gave the cabin a very premium look. Spacious seating, both front and rear, made long trips enjoyable. This Rover is in drivable condition and the interior and exterior look generally clean. To get a good idea of the lot we recommend coming to the viewing day.
