Description

The Mercedes-Benz 450 SL, introduced in 1972, is an iconic model of the R107 series, a series produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1971 to 1989. This series was a successor to the W113 (Pagoda). The 450 SL was designed as a luxurious roadster with a removable hardtop and a fabric soft-top, giving drivers the best of both worlds: an enclosed coupe and an open convertible. The 450 SL was powered by a 4.5-liter V8 engine, which was known for its powerful performance and smooth driving experience. The engine was mated to an automatic transmission, which contributed to the comfortable and effortless handling expected of a luxury roadster. This V8 engine was capable of giving the car good acceleration and a respectable top speed for the time. The interior and exterior look generally clean, except for a few minor imperfections. With the car comes documentation which includes maintenance history. To get a good impression of the lot we advise you to come to the viewing day.
