The 1983 GL Convertible was a convertible version of the popular Volkswagen Golf. Its recognizable angular design was and is popular among car enthusiasts. The convertible version has a fabric roof that can be folded down.
Standardly, this Golf came with a manual transmission.
The first-generation Volkswagen Golf (to which the 1983 Golf GL belongs) was introduced in 1974 and remained in production until 1983. It was an influential model that helped popularize the hatchback concept.
The car has been restored in the past and then returned to service. The exterior is in clean condition but does have some signs of use. The cloth hood has damage to the right rear. The interior, like the exterior, is in clean condition with some signs of use.
