Lotus Europa S2 1972

This Lotus Europa S2 is an exceptional 1972 original Dutch delivered example. In 2017, the Lotus was sold to the current Belgian owner, who registered the car in Belgiumë but did not register it. Because of this, with the available Dutch export certificate, the car can easily be put back on the original Dutch registration. The Belgian registration also makes it easy to apply for a Belgian license plate. It is nice that a Lotus birth certificate is present. This proves that the car is matching numbers. Even the tube frame chassis is original Lotus, which is special because tube frames were often replaced with aftermarket frames due to damage or wear. The original paint color is Colorado Orange (L14). The seats and upholstery are also original. This is an S2 model, which means that the fiberglass body is completely removable for easier maintenance. Over the past two years, the Europa has received a lot of maintenance (no invoices): rear wheel bearings, water pump, shift mechanism, air filter, battery and tires have been replaced.
