Porsche 911 S Targa 1976

This Porsche 911 Targa has been in the Netherlands since 2022. The car is equipped with a 2.7L S engine. Originally equipped with injection, however, the block was professionally converted to carburetors. By installing oversized PMO 50 carburetors, the power increased from 175 hp originally to 190 hp. This manifests itself especially in the higher rpm range, where the engine is clearly more powerful. At lower revs, the engine runs slightly more turbulent as a result. This performance analysis was performed by Speed Centre Geldermalsen, a specialist in carburetor tuning. Furthermore, the engine and gearbox were recently disassembled. The gearbox was completely disassembled and the bad parts (2nd and 3rd gear) were renewed. A new clutch and pressure group were also installed, the brakes were renewed all around and a new master cylinder was installed. After this work, the mileage counter was replaced with an odometer.
