Description

This Mercedes-Benz 230C was delivered new in Belgiumë in 1978. After that the car served in France as transportation for an Englishman with a country house on the French coast. In 2006, the Mercedes came to the Netherlands and was taken care of by the current owner. The wheel arches and sills were replaced and the car was given a new coat of paint. This Mercedes has always been in a dry garage which is part of a small collection of oldtimers. As far as can be traced, the mileage is original. The W123 series is known for their durability, reliability and classic design. The 230 C is powered by a six-cylinder gasoline engine. Mercedes-Benz was known for delivering powerful and smooth engines, and the six-cylinder units of the era were no exception. The interior of the 230 C was typical of Mercedes-Benz at the time, with high-quality materials and attention to detail. Comfortable seats, wooden trim on the dashboard and a functional layout of controls were typical. This example is also equipped with a working Becker Europa radio. For the purists: the seat controls on this car are no longer on vacuüm but manual and sometimes a strip or rubber is missing. To get a good picture of the lot we advise you to come to the viewing day.
