Description

The 1996 Ford Econoline E150 is part of Ford's long and successful line of full-size vans, known for their versatility, space and reliability. These vans were used for a wide range of applications, from commercial transportation and delivery services to personal use and even as a base for motorhomes.

The E150 version of the Econoline series was the entry-level model, aimed at those who needed a rugged and spacious van with a reasonable payload and towing capacity. The "150" denotes a half-ton payload, making it suitable for lighter commercial tasks and personal use.

The exterior of the 1996 Econoline had a functional and practical design, with a large, boxy body that offered plenty of room for cargo or passengers, depending on the layout of the van. The Econoline series was often chosen for modifications and conversions because of its ample size and adaptability.

The interior was simple and focused on practicality, with a spacious cabin and simple layout. Commercial configurations had an emphasis on cargo space, while passenger versions had more seating and comfort features.

The Econoline offered here is a project car where a start has been made on conversion to diesel.

We invite you to see it all in person on viewing day.
