Description

This Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42 is part of a privécollection of 4x4s that includes 9 Land Cruisers. It is not often that so many Land Cruisers are offered at the same time and the collection may therefore be called a unique appearance. In 1960 the 3rd generation was presented, the J40. It was produced until 1983. The Land Cruiser J40 series was praised for its ruggedness and excellent off-road performance. With a sturdy ladder chassis, all-wheel drive with low gearing and solid front and rear axles, the vehicle was capable of easily making its way through tough terrain conditions such as mud, snow and rocky terrain. The Land Cruisers offered here all came with Toyota’s B engines, which are 4 cylinder diesels. This BJ40 was delivered in 1976. The 0 indicates that it is a short chassis. The car looks generally clean. The engine runs, but the fuel pump diaphragm needs to be replaced. A soft top cover is included. To get a good idea of the lot we recommend you come to the viewing day.
