The 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is an iconic sports car known for its timeless design and exhilarating driving experience. The 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce has a striking design with elegant, flowing lines. It is a two-seat convertible with an elongated hood. One of the most distinctive features of the Spider Veloce is its convertible roof. The roof could be easily folded down, allowing the driver and passenger to enjoy open-air driving and the sound of the engine. The 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is often associated with the Italian passion for cars and symbolizes the romance of convertible driving. This particular Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce was originally delivered in California in 1973 and imported to the Netherlands in 1992. The current owner bought the car in 2012 and then began a well-documented restoration. In doing so, no expense was spared. The body was completely stripped bare, tightened and the car was repainted in the color Giallo Pozzuoli (AR 127). The paintwork is in good condition and there is no rust anywhere. There is a rebuilt 2.0 liter block in it that has now run just over 10,000 km. The carburetors have also been overhauled and the mechanical ignition has been replaced by an electronic one. There is also a new exhaust under the car. The suspension has been completely overhauled and an Alfaholics Stage 1 Suspension Rebuild Package has been installed. As a result, the Spider sits wonderfully on the road and steers tightly. During the restoration, all "American" exterior features such as the protruding bumpers and square side lights were removed and there are now "European" bumpers on it. Even in terms of the interior, it looks like the Spider was originally delivered in Europe. The Spider is now over 50 years old and therefore there is no longer an MOT requirement. Incidentally, that has never been a problem. To get a good impression of the lot we advise you to come to the viewing day.
