Beschrijving

Mercedes-Benz's 170 series, was the volume model with which the German car brand achieved success both before and after World War II. This model was produced in various versions between 1931 and 1955. The car offered here is a 170 S. The '170 S' was introduced at the IAA in Hannover in 1949. Still based on the pre-war models, however improved in many ways. Production of this model took place between May 1949 and February 1955. Compared to the V series, for example, the position of the spare wheel stood out. From now on, it was no longer on the tailgate, but was neatly stowed in the trunk. The 170 S B Convertible variant is ééone of the rarest models in the line, with only 1,606 produced. This Mercedes is in beautiful condition. The car is in good driving condition. Both the interior and exterior look generally good. The car was extensively restored in 1993 by the Mercedes factory team. Pictures of this are available.
