Ford Mustang GT Fastback 1965

This 1965 Ford Mustang GT Fastback is a legendary American muscle car and is part of the first generation Ford Mustang, produced from 1964 to 1973. It is an iconic car known for its powerful performance and striking design. The GT version of the Mustang added sporty upgrades to the car, such as a special GT badge, dual exhaust pipes and improved suspension and brakes. These modifications improved performance and handling, making the Mustang GT Fastback an exhilarating driving experience. It is 1 of the few Fastbacks with a Luxury Interior (also according to the dataplate): only 5676 of them were built, split between the T, C, A and K codes. Of the Fastbacks with a Luxury Interior, estimates are that about 115 were built as a Factory GT. This one rolled off the assembly line in Atlanta, which is rare because most came from Michigan, New jersey or California. The bottom and sheet metal are clean and hard. The Mustang has adjustable Koni shocks front and rear, slightly heavier stabilizer bars, new steering ball joints, etc. The standard exhausts have been replaced with the classic tri-Y headers, so the car gives a nice V8 sound.
