The 1970 Vespa L50 is a scooter produced by Piaggio, an Italian two-wheeler manufacturer. The Vespa L50 was equipped with an air-cooled 50cc two-stroke engine with a four-speed manual transmission. For its time, it was an economical and reliable power source suitable for city traffic. The Vespa L50 had the iconic Vespa design with sleek and streamlined bodywork. It had a single frame with a unique "monocoque" construction, meaning that the frame and body were one unit. The scooter had a low running board and a storage compartment under the seat.
