Beschrijving

This Jaguar XK 120 FHC (Fixed Head Coupe) was delivered to first owner W.A. Baker in April 1952. The car originally had a battleship gray exterior over a red interior.

This rather exciting color combination was changed in 1980 by the father of the last American owner to Primrose yellow exterior over a black interior.

The car was purchased by a Dutch collector from the current owner after his father had owned the car for 39 years.

This XK 120 can be driven 'as is' or is an excellent candidate for a (concours) restoration.
We have found that the Moss gearbox needs careful handling (double clutch and slow shifting) to shift down from 4th to 3rd and third to second gear.

It is an iconic sports car that is considered a milestone in automotive history. It is one of the most beloved and recognizable classic Jaguars ever produced.

The XK 120 FHC is powered by a 3.4-liter six-cylinder gasoline engine. The use of the XK engine with double overhead camshafts made the XK 120 FHC a powerful and fast car.

The XK 120 FHC has an enclosed body design with an elegant and streamlined appearance. It has a steel body with a long hood, a sloping roofline and a rounded rear end. The FHC variant has a fixed roof as opposed to the open roadster version.

The interior of the XK 120 FHC accommodates two occupants. It has stylish interior with high-quality materials and workmanship. The car is designed with an emphasis on driving pleasure and comfortable cruising.

The XK 120 series, including the FHC variant, had a major impact on the automotive world and Jaguar's image as a producer of luxury sports cars. Today, it is considered a classic and collectible, and the XK 120 FHC remains a sought-after car among classic Jaguar enthusiasts.

The car has a solid chassis and body, beautiful chrome, JDHT certificate, matching numbers and miscellaneous tooling. The paint shows some imperfections
