Beschreibung

This Porsche 911 Targa was originally delivered in the Netherlands by Pon and has the rare original paint color Signal Orange. The history is also special. The current owner had the boyhood dream of one day owning a Porsche. To achieve this, he decided, unlike his friends, not to smoke. With the money saved as a result, he bought this Porsche from an estate when he was in his twenties. The 911 was mainly stored dry and was hardly driven due to a lack of time. In the 1980s, some work was carried out to keep the car technically and optically up to date. The engine was overhauled and the paint updated. After this, the 911 was parked again, which led the owner to decide to sell the Porsche. Another nice anecdote: the police were recently under the impression that this was once a State Police Porsche 911, after which the owner was approached to buy back the car. After investigation by Pon, it appears that this copy was not a police Porsche, but it is the only one of the 1970 delivery still in possession of the original Dutch registration.

The Porsche 911 is currently in good, almost original condition. The paint is in good condition and radiates towards you. The rear window seems intact but has become somewhat dull over time. Also, some original rubbers and finish need to be replaced. The interior looks complete but is somewhat tired due to standing still. The upholstery of the seats and doors is neat and intact, which is due to the relatively low mileage. When the owner bought the car, the aftermarket sports steering wheel and the radio + speakers were already installed.

Under the front cover, the back of the original matte has become brittle, leaving a black residue. The original spare wheel is still present. The two original 6V batteries on either side have been replaced by a single modern 12V battery. As a result, the Porsche starts well and runs nicely after warming up. All in all, this is a special Dutch 911 Targa in a sought-after original colour, which is suitable to drive as is or to perfect further. The Porsche attracts a lot of attention and generates nice reactions. To get a good picture of the lot, we advise you to come to the viewing day.
