The Gilera 150 Sports is a classic motorcycle produced by the Italian company Gilera from 1952 to 1958. It was a sporty variant of the Gilera 150 Turismo, with a number of improvements and upgrades to improve performance. The Gilera 150 Sports was equipped with an air-cooled four-stroke engine with a capacity of 146 cc, which produced about 8 horsepower. The engine was coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox and the bike had a top speed of approximately 100 km/h. The design of the Gilera 150 Sports was sporty and streamlined, with a slim frame and a classic look. The Gilera 150 Sports was popular with riders looking for a fast and sporty motorcycle. Today it is a sought-after classic among collectors for its rarity and nostalgia. The lots on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the lots. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the lots and the engines is unknown to us.
