The Rixe RS 50 is a moped produced by the German company Rixe. The RS 50 was a popular model in the 70's and 80's and is still appreciated today for its nostalgic value. The Rixe RS 50 was equipped with an air-cooled two-stroke engine with a cylinder capacity of 49cc, which produced approximately 2.2 horsepower. The engine was connected to a 3-speed manual gearbox and the scooter had a top speed of about 40 km/h. The RS 50 had a kick starter and a manual choke. The design of the Rixe RS 50 was typical for mopeds of that time, with a slim frame and a classic look. The lots on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the lots. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the lots and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the lots on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
