Description

The Vespa PX200E is a popular scooter produced by the Italian company Piaggio from 1983 to 2007. It was the successor of the Vespa P200E and also one of the most successful models of the Vespa series. The Vespa PX200E was equipped with an air-cooled two-stroke engine with a cylinder capacity of 198cc, which produced about 12 horsepower. The engine was coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission and the scooter had a top speed of approximately 100 km/h. The PX200E had an electric start and an automatic choke, making it easy to start the engine. The design of the Vespa PX200E was similar to the Vespa P200E, with its streamlined body and round headlight. However, the scooter had some updates such as an improved braking system and a more ergonomic design for the driver and passenger. Production of the Vespa PX200E was discontinued in 2007, but it remains a sought-after scooter among collectors for its iconic design and nostalgic value. The lots on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the lots. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the lots and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the lots on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
