The Messerschmitt KR200 is a small three-wheeled car produced in Germany between 1955 and 1964 by the Messerschmitt aircraft company. The KR200 was designed as a cheap and practical means of transportation after World War II, when there was a great need for cheap transportation. The KR200 had a unique design, with a streamlined body and a covered cabin for the driver and passenger. It was equipped with a 191cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine that produced 10 hp and could reach a top speed of approximately 90 km/h. The engine was coupled to a four-speed manual transmission and the KR200 had rear-wheel drive. The KR200 had a very tight turning circle, making it easy to maneuver in busy city traffic. It also had remarkably low fuel consumption, making it an economical and affordable means of transportation. Although the KR200 was originally designed as a cheap and practical car, it soon gained cult status for its unique design and character. Today, the Messerschmitt KR200 is a coveted classic among car enthusiasts and collectors, and is considered an icon of post-war automotive history. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
