Description

The 1968 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible was a luxury car produced under the Cadillac brand, and it was one of the most iconic and popular cars of the late sixties. The 1968 Eldorado Convertible was originally equipped with a powerful 7.7-liter V8 engine that produced 375 horsepower and 525 pound-feet of torque. This gave the car plenty of power and speed for a smooth and comfortable driving experience. The car also had a unique design with a streamlined body, large headlights and a distinctive rear fin. The interior of the Eldorado was very luxurious and equipped with all the options available at the time. The car was also praised for its advanced technology, such as the optional patented "Guide-Matic" headlamp system, which automatically adjusted the angle of the headlamps based on the speed and direction of the car's steering. The 1968 Eldorado Convertible was popular with celebrities and wealthy customers for its exclusive appearance and luxurious features. It was also one of the last years that Cadillac produced the Eldorado Convertible before the model was discontinued. This makes the model especially beloved. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
