The Ford Edsel SE Citation Convertible is a rare and valuable car produced by Ford Motor Company in 1958 under the Edsel brand name. The Edsel was a separate brand within Ford that existed for only a few years, from 1958 to 1960. The Citation was one of the top models in the Edsel line, and the convertible version was one of the most expensive and luxurious models available. The SE (Special Edition) version of the Citation was even more exclusive and included additional luxury features such as a chrome grille and other refinements. The Edsel SE Citation Convertible was powered by a 4,100cc V8 engine that produced 345 horsepower and was equipped with an automatic transmission. It also had advanced suspension and brakes for a smooth ride and optimum safety. Unfortunately, the Edsel was a commercial flop and Ford discontinued production after only three years. Today, the Edsel SE Citation Convertible is a rare and sought-after classic among collectors and car enthusiasts because of its unique design and historical value. Only 930 were produced. The car was originally delivered new in the Netherlands. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us.
