The MG A 1600 MKII is a sports roadster produced by the British car manufacturer MG from 1961 to 1962. It was the successor of the MG A 1600, which was produced from 1959 to 1961, and was a popular sports car among car enthusiasts because of its classic appearance and good driving characteristics. The MG A 1600 MKII was equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 90 horsepower, which was a considerable improvement compared to the MG A 1600. The engine was connected to a four-speed manual gearbox and the car had a top speed of about 170 km/h. The design of the MG A 1600 MKII was streamlined and sporty, with a low center of gravity and a sleek appearance. The MG A 1600 MKII also had a number of characteristic design elements, such as the classic radiator grille, the rounded fenders and the air intakes next to the hood. The interior was simple and functional, with sporty seats and a minimalist dashboard. The MG A 1600 MKII was a popular sports car among enthusiasts because of its excellent driving characteristics and sporty appearance. Today it is a recognizable and iconic classic. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
