The Maserati Bora 4.7 is the first version of the Bora sports car, produced between 1971 and 1972. It was one of the first Maserati production models to feature a mid-engine layout, which allowed for a more balanced weight distribution between the front and rear wheels than previous front-engine models. The Bora 4.7 was equipped with a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produced approximately 306 horsepower. The engine was connected to a five-speed manual transmission and could accelerate the car from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 7 seconds, with a top speed of more than 280 km/h. The body of the Bora 4.7 was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italdesign and was very streamlined, with a low nose and sloping rear. A total of only 289 Maserati Bora 4.7 were built, making a Bora a rare sight today. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
