Beschrijving

The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport "Freccia d'Oro" was a sporty version of the Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 produced between 1947 and 1953. "Frecia d'Oro" means "golden arrow" in Italian, which emphasized the speed and elegance of this car. The car was equipped with a 2.5-liter six-cylinder engine with a capacity of 105 hp, which ensured a top speed of approximately 165 km/h. The body was designed by Carrozzeria Touring and had a streamlined shape with elegant lines. The "Freccia d'Oro" had a luxurious interior with leather upholstery and a wooden dashboard. The "Freccia d'Oro" was one of the first Alfa Romeo cars to be equipped with independent suspension, which ensured better road holding and a more comfortable ride. Production of the Freccia d'Oro was limited to just 680 units, making it a highly sought-after classic among collectors and enthusiasts. The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport "Freccia d'Oro" is considered one of the most beautiful and prestigious cars in the history of Alfa Romeo and is a valuable addition to any classic car collection. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
