Specifications
Description

The ISO Rivolta IR 300 would be the first Gran Turismo car built by ISO Rivolta. It was released in 1962 and sold until 1970. The model name simply stands for "ISO Rivolta 300 HP" - that was how much power the Chevrolet V8 produced. The IR 300 was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, who was working at Bertone at the time. He would later be considered the greatest car designer of the 20th century. The car was engineered by Giotto Bizzarrini, a former Ferrari engineer who had designed many of the best Ferrari road and race cars of the era, including the 250 GTO. A total of 797 vehicles of the ISO Rivolta IR 300 were built until 1970. This makes it unique. The car was originally delivered new in the Netherlands. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
